About Future Practice Webinars
Future Practice Webinars teach you the cutting edge of contemporary user experience research and design methods and practices. These 60-minute webinars are initially available as live classes, and then are made available in a DRM-free recorded, edited format.
By avoiding the travel required in attending a physical seminar or conference, you save money and reduce your impact on the environment. Some of our customers like to watch the webinar with colleagues in a conference room, making for an even better value.
Live Webinars
When you sign up for a live webinar, you can watch a presentation using your web browser. You'll see the presenter's slides and hear his or her voice on your speakers (or you can use your phone to hear the audio). You will see either an image or a video feed of the presenter, and you'll have the opportunity to send questions to a moderator, who will help the presenter answer as many as time permits. And you can invite as many colleagues as you like to participate by gathering around your computer (viewing on a separate computer requires purchasing an additional ticket).
Your purchase of a live webinar also includes the corresponding recorded webinar, a refined version of the original live webinar. We'll email you instructions on how to download it as soon as it's available.
Recorded Webinars
If you missed the live webinar, you can still purchase and download the recorded webinar. (Of course, when watching the recorded webinar you won't have the opportunity to ask questions.) You can watch the recorded version as many times as you like, anytime, and share it with others in your organization. We'll be glad to notify you when the recorded versions of our webinars are available for purchase.
Preparing Your Computer for a Live Webinar
To prepare your computer, go to Adobe's Meeting Connect Test page and ensure it passes all tests successfully. Additionally, please be sure your computer has a modern web browser and the ability to play audio.
How To Sign Up
You can purchase either a ticket to a live webinar or a copy of a recorded webinar. Register by going to a webinar page and clicking the Buy Ticket or Buy Recording button. You can pay by credit card (American Express, Visa, or Mastercard). A few days before the live webinar, we will email instructions for participating in the event. If you've purchased a recorded version, you'll immediately receive instructions for downloading the file via email.
