It's always interesting to pop into del.icio.us and see how many users are bookmarking a site (say, this one), and how they're tagging it. As of right now, 16 people have tagged this site. Good? Bad? Hard to say at this point.

Of course, this is example #491 of how coarsely we users tag content. The folksonomic ideal is to tag first and foremost to support refinding one's own bookmark in the future. Hence "search" is #1 by far, followed by "web". Note that "search analytics" (or variations thereof) don't show up.

Guess we'll have to work a little harder to get that meme into the mainstream. :-)
