...these are the verbs that describe my emotional state these days. The book is at the printer, and we expect it to arrive at the end of the month, crossing fingers that all goes well. My friends who are new mothers tell me, "It must feel like having a baby!" Well, no, not exactly, because I get to look forward to deeper sleep after it's out. But I can see the similarity.

In the meantime, I have posted all the images from the book, along with the captions. When I was a little girl, before I could read, I used to look through all the big Time-Life books (with titles like The Universe, Early Man, Evolution, and The Sea) and study the images. I would try to make out some of the words in the captions. This pursuit entertained me for hours--a boon to my parents, I'm sure. I hope that you will find these images nearly as interesting, and possibly useful in your own presentations. Take a look.
