Hello Europe!

December 14, 2009 10:16 AM

Until the past week or so, we've shipped all of our books from a facility outside Detroit, Michigan in the US. While a quick perusal of our shipper ratings at Amazon.com suggests that this arrangement has worked well, many of you have asked us to find a way to lower the price and shorten the shipping time to European addresses.

We've been working hard to set up such an arrangement for many, many months, and we're glad to let you know that we are now successfully fulfilling orders from a Belfast, Northern Ireland facility. When you enter a European shipping address in our cart, you'll automatically be provided with appropriate shipping options.

Naturally, there will be some glitches, and we appreciate your patience and feedback as we squash them. Please comment here and let us know how we can improve the process; many thanks!

Update, December 22: ...and now you can purchase our books via Amazon.co.UK!

Hi Louis,
does that mean that Rosenfeld books are soon to be found on European bookstores such as Amazon.fr? That would be great!
Milan

Hi Milan; we haven't announced it yet, but we are now in AmazonUK. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a "once you're in AmazonUK, you're in the other European Amazon stores" effect. :-( We wish there was; it was hard enough to get this far!

Much appreciated!

I will celebrate this right away by buying the new book about PaperPrototyping.

Thanks Jacob!

It's a shame that you managed to get onto amazon.co.uk just as they lost me as a customer.

How Amazon lost a customer of 11 years

Sorry to hear it Chris. Keep in mind that when you order from Amazon.uk (or would have), we still fulfill the order. So why not order directly from Rosenfeld Media?

The short sighted delivery policy of amazon.co.uk will not stop me buying all of the books from your excellent publishing company. I buy some in paper form and some in electronic form.

We don’t like these either (but comment spam makes them a must)
